What's in Forge Bites treats?
One ingredient. Our salmon treats are made with human grade, raw salmon that is USDC inspected, then freeze dried. No fillers, no preservatives, no artificial colors or flavors. That's the whole list.
Are these good for all dog breeds?
Yes. Forge Bites work for dogs of every breed and size. The treats are naturally bite sized, which makes them easy to use for training with small dogs and large dogs alike.
Where are they made?
Sourced and manufactured in the United States. Our salmon is wild caught from American waters and the treats are freeze dried and packaged here in the USA.
How many treats should I give my dog?
As a general guide, 1 to 2 treats for dogs under 25 lbs, 2 to 3 for dogs 25 to 50 lbs, 3 to 4 for dogs 50 to 100 lbs, and 4 to 5 for dogs over 100 lbs. Treats should make up no more than 10 percent of your dog's daily calories. Always provide fresh water.
Why Freeze Dried?
Freeze drying removes moisture without cooking, which helps preserve the natural flavor and aroma of raw salmon. It also means no heat processing and no need for preservatives to keep the treats shelf stable.
